The Annual Louisiana Section Spring conference was held at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette, Louisiana April 14th and 15th. Dr. Kam Movassaghi was presented the 2011 National Turner Award which recognizes contributions to the advancement of the knowledge and practice of transportation engineering. The award was presented by Jonathan C. Esslinger, National Director of the Transportation and Development Institute (T&DI) of ASCE.
