The Interstate 49 South Feasibility and Funding Task Force was re-established within the Executive Department, Office of the Governor. The main functions of the Task Force is to identify funding sources and to document the level of support for the project by citizens of the state, the Metropolitan Planning Organizations surrounding U.S. 90 between Lafayette and New Orleans and the members of the Louisiana Legislature.
