Engineering organizations actively recruiting civil engineers in the Louisiana Section are invited post their advertisements for the positions being sought. Survey Party Chief

An established Regional Civil Engineering and Surveying firm has an immediate opening for an organized and task-driven Survey Party Chief with some experience in private and public works projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the daily functions of the survey crew. This is usually a 2 person crew including a survey Rodman.
  • Responsible for the set up and completion of the survey crew on job sites.
  • Understand and compute field calculations relative to the survey data collected.
  • Effectively manage the time and schedules of the survey crew.
  • Operates all survey equipment and interprets data.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years' experience as Party Chief.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be able to travel and ability to stay overnight based on the work.
