Transportation Design Practice Leader

Louisiana Operations

ARCADIS ANA is currently searching for a Transportation Design Practice Leader for our Louisiana Operations. This position is critical to our rapidly growing transportation team in Louisiana. As a senior member of our Louisiana leadership Project Development and Design (PDD) group, duties will include close coordination with our Louisiana and Division PDD Leadership team in the development and implementation of strategies to expand our services in Louisiana and the Southeastern U.S.

Our team is known for innovation and outstanding customer service and will continue to build on these values. This is a unique opportunity for leadership and growth within the ARCADIS Infrastructure Division.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead, manage, and perform assignments from concept through preliminary and final design. Projects include roadways, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways and interstates.
  • Develop opportunity leads, project teams and coordination with the Infrastructure Client Development team to capture strategic projects.
  • Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, mentoring and development of junior staff and design/drafters, and development of project plans and schedules.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, development and growth of the Louisiana Transportation Operations’ team and our national PDD group.
  • Assist as needed on other projects assigned and work with other ARCADIS offices as needed.
  • Adherence to ARCADIS' practices including quality and safety standards.
  • Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ Years
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer in LA required, registration in other SE States a plus.
  • Familiarity with LADOTD project delivery process, protocols and procedures.
  • Competence in Microstation and InRoads
